Ulysse Nardin Freak Phantom Watch
This year Ulysse Nardin?changes the name of its Freak Diavolo watch to the "Freak Phantom." I can't say why that is, but I suspect it has to do with conservative types who take issue with the fact that a watch is called "devil." That is the watch industry for youWhat else has changed? Well the Diavolo was previously offered only in 18k white gold, and now we have it in 18k rose gold. Still probably one of the coolest tourbillon watches available when you want something that's not standard fare. The Ulysse Nardin Freak is an extremely important watch in the modern luxury watch landscape. AP Royal Oak Chrono Vs Patek Nautilus Chrono
Well Guys,I have narrowed my next watch down to two options and I have shopped around from the best prices I can get.I would like to really thank some of you who shared your contacts. It really is much appreciated and shows how great this forum is!With the Patek, the best price I could get is 15% off Swiss list price, compared to 28% off the AP. So this is how it works out:?43,500 at a 15% discount for the Nautilus ChronoVS ?24,600 with a 28% discount for the APWhich would you go for considering:LooksValue - there is a substantial difference in priceQualityRepair and Service TimesResaleStatus
Omega Stopwatch
Any information forum members have on this Omega stopwatch would be appreciated. I bought this watch sometime in the mid '70s in the Virgin Islands. It's been used primarily to time legs of NRA pistol matches. As you can see from the photos the plastic watch holder has faded from exposure to sunlight. The watch still runs perfectly. Does Omega still make stopwatches, and if not when were they discontinued? Any info would be appreciated.Doug
