Meeting of the White Knights
It was a nice meeting with Ben this afternoon over some coffee and watch talks! Ben! Your 15400 was indeed splendid! You have made an excellent decision to select the white dial which really dances with lights (although it is hard to show in photos)
5990 considerations
Hi All, Thinking hard about the 5990...chrono and GMT are probably the complications I like the most and a grey dial adds some variety to what I currently have in the stable. Out of curiosity, what kind of discount have you been getting at AD for this? I know it varies by country/city - if it makes a difference the cities I spend the most time in are full of many deep pocketed individuals (New York, Singapore, London) who buy a lot...Anyone love/hate the 5990? Help..Love The Nautilus, But Fear of Scratches on Bezel Prevent Me from Buying...
Guys,I love Nautilus very much and consider buying it in the near future......But I'm a little bit worry about the bezel...Many posts here in TRF mentioning that Nautilus bezel is scratch magnets...and it will look terrible with scratches....I would like to know how you guys handle this problem....For info, I have a RG Daytona with RG gold bezel...it scratches quite easily...but fortunately, I found out that it is easily removed using rouge cloth or cape cod....Would that be the case with PP Nautilus???Regards,

So the bezel on my 14060 submariner was very stiff and hard to turn even with two hands. I went on the forums and people were saying that there may be dirt underneath. So I'm like, oh shit, I gotta get the bezel off without damaging anything and then put it back together again.Well using this handy guide .watchwallpapers/bezel.html it actually turned out to be very easy. I didn't have masking tape but post it notes did the trick. I even managed to avoid scratching the case and lined up the bezel correctly on the first try.tl;dr proud of myself for servicing my watch
Daily beater but which one..
looking for a daily beater..Currently I have..a) TT Sub(BLack) 116613LN - my first Rolexb) Daytona Ceramic (white) 116500LN c) AP 15202st Extra Thinb&c I added last year which I baby them because I am not going to sell them ever. Number A I don't wear it to work because I think its flashy and its not getting enough wrist time and I may or may not sell it in future because its my first Rollie and even my wife is against selling it.So I have short listed the following models1)Sub LV (Hulk)2)Date Sub LN ((black)3)BLNR (Batman)I would like to add Sub with date someday but Hulk's hype is getting into me and of course the dial of the hulk is stunning.
