What say you out of these three?
the new 42mm offshore looks more speical and red/orange accents and aracbic numbers on dial, while the 26400SO's color is most match I think, with white/silver dial matched with black index/red accents and black ceramic bezel,, what would you say out of these three?
Speedmaster Professional 750
Hello,I am usually in the Rolex forum but I have recently been fascinated with looking at Omega models, especially the Speedmaster etc. A lot to learn I fear.I am partial to gold (I know I know) and have recently seen on one of the known sale sites a Speedmaster Professional 750 gold from 1995 limited edition number xx/250.Can anyone pleas give me any insight into this piece, I.e. Why it was manufactured, or for what anniversary etc.I appreciate that Speedmaster have a long and varied rich history and indeed it was the launch of the CK2998 recently that caught my eye to Omega. The code is 319 450 00Any information would be grateful and helpfulBestSimon
MR explained by the president
Found a nice 8 minute video where Thierry Stern explains the different minute repeaters and the best metals to use, RG being the best it seems, which is logical since they made the Grand Master Chime from RG and not another metal, personally if I had the possibility, I would love to get the 5213, it's only in WG, has of course MR, PC retrograde and moon phase, plus officer case back and a modern size, 39,5mm if I am correct, it is IMHO the best minute repeater, there are other great ones but in terms of size this is the one that would be the best for me, unfortunately apart from winning the Lottery there is no chance I would ever get one...Enjoy https://.youtube/watch?v=GVGxqxaivo8
it's been a VERY long time since I saw such a WONDERFULL watch
The more I see it the more I love itThe PAM 519 and 520 are so perfect.Panerai made a watch which could be a vintage Patek. ( not talking about the size because we won't find vintage 45mm patek chronographs) but the combination of dial and case is so perfect.I'm pretty sure these 2 will get a lot of attention and not only from people who love Panerai but people who never thought about buying a PaneraiDon't know how they did it but this is a watch doesn't look like all the other Panerai notwithstanding it has the same case as any other 1940 caseI never thought I would mention Panerai and Patek in one sentence but in this case they deserve it. The movement is absolutely wonderful ( Minerva origin) . But a Patek is still better finishedWOW JUST WOW
Where does yourmrolex most often receive comments, besides at jewelry stores. ?
I did a search and couldn't find this type of thread. For me, staff at restaurants most often recognize my rolexes and comment on them. Also, at airports a few times while walking. but mainly staff at restaurants notice even my explorer 1, or old air king, much less the deep blue.. I often wonder why, but am guessing it's because they profile people that tip OR just appreciate watches. I certainly don't think staff at restaurants are beneath anyone... many are students, part time, semi retired, or just like what they do. From IHOP to fine dining, I've had people comment on watches.. even hostesses seating people have said,, nice watch... to me. I neverr under any circumstances wear any watch for recognition, ever. It surprises me when people do recognize and comment. When wearing a reverso, I've never had anyone comment, even in a watch store, which seems odd. I guess there are times when people do recognize but don't comment, I myself have complimented people wearing an explorer 2 wh
