A25363 Bentley will not keep time!!!!!
I purchased a pre owned Breitling for Bentley A25363 about a month ago, and it has been giving me nothing but trouble. When I first received it, the chronograph start/stop pusher would not activate the 30 second chrono. I brought it to a local watchmaker, and he was able to fix this problem. However, when the watch is fully wound, it will not run for more than two days straight. I wind this watch everyday, and it still goes dead. My watchmaker says the movement looks clean, and he replaced the mainspring...I am clueless!!! Anybody know what may be causing this?Best,Brett
President Kennedy's Omega
Yesterday, I stopped by the Omega boutique at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. I took a long look at the new Omega '57 Speedmaster. Then, while chatting with the staff about Omega, I asked about the watch Omega made a few years ago which replicated the Omega worn by President Kennedy. I learned that Omega made just 261 of these watches. Moments later, I was looking at 221.It is a pure dress watch, of the old school. No second hand. No date. Almost weightless on its caiman strap. The movement is Omega's own calibre 2006, manual winding with a power reserve of 40 hours. The elegant simplicity of the watch spoke to me, and, of course, its history. Given to him by a friend, President Kennedy wore his Omega Ultra Thin often, including during his inauguration. I have long had an affinity for Omega, since childhood when I stood by my father's side as he purchased a Speedmaster Professional, a watch I still wear. I'd never owned a watch such as this, however. So, despite the hefty p

Did Rolex Miss
That is did they miss an opportunity to launch a new clasp with the intro of the new GMT Master?Should they have launched a new micro-adjust clasp or smaller version of the Glidelock for the GMT Master. Now that we have the next-gen GMT, does that mean we will not see a micro-adjust on the non-diver portion of the professional series for a long time to come. If so I think that's a shame.Thoughts?
No more steel Subs in 2018?!
On another watch forum, a couple of gentlemen are propagating the rumor that steel Subs will be discontinued in 2018, to be replaced with white gold special edition versions. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?I'm incredulous myself, but considering the massive steel Sub shortage and also the fact that Rolex had the audacity to make a watch as iconic as the Pepsi GMT into an exclusively PM model, I cannot say I would be entirely surprised.Thoughts? Opinions? Has anyone here also encountered these rumors? Cheers!
