We showed you the movement to the EMC here back at Basel, but now the watch has been unveiled, and it's a doozy.? The EMC is "the world's first precision mechanical watch in which the timing can be monitored and adjusted by the user, on the fly - essentially? It's interactive. 2 OF 6 So what does this mean specifically? Well the watchmaker's best friend is a device called a Witschi, which listens to the rhythm of the balance and displays the performance of the movement, how much a movement gains or loses in 24 hours.? The EMC essentially has a Witschi built into it (electronic, though manually wound!) so that the wearer sees how his was his running.? And, the EMC offers the wearer to adjust the watch on the fly to keep chronometric performance at its peak. 3 OF 6 EMC feat

Flipping a Patek for a Lange and....
I never thought I'd sell my 5205G. But looking back over the last two years I've been wearing it less and less, perhaps less than any other dress watch. It's undoubtedly a beautiful watch but maybe it's elegance and the shape of the case pushes me off. I intended to keep it anyways and maybe in the winter time I'd find myself wearing it more often as I think it suits darker clothing better than light summer styles. So while I've been waiting for the PT Datograph to arrive I just tried on the Grand Lange 1 in WG black dial and am really smitten. I didn't expect to like the black dial but pictures really don't do the watch justice. It just sparkles in the light, it almost feels like there is no sapphire on the case. It has a the Lange 1 casual elegance which I really dig. Just feels right on the wrist which I didn't feel with the 5205. So I'm able to flip my 5205G for the Lange and as added extra a Pam 372 or 424 too. Am I being too impulsive and should I give the 5205 some mor

Happy Friday!So for a while I've been yearning for a 5 digit sub, specifically Y serial 2-liner 14060M with box/papers in mint condition.... while here and there I would see one pop up, a few weeks ago I decided to mentally commit (for me the toughest part of deciding to buy pre-owned), and yesterday found exactly what I was looking for and pulled the trigger - first time I bought from Govberg, and I have to say it was a pleasure.
