Hublot Manufacture Officially Inaugurated
Yesterday Hublot officially inaugurated is new manufacture and offices. Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver welcomed LVMH Group Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault and Philippe Pascal, President of the LVMH Timepieces and Jewellery division. Various celebrities, friends of the brand, partners, as well as representatives from local authorities and the press attended the celebration. The festivities took place 2 years after the first stone was laid. The building has been operating at full capacity since April. The building, which overlooks Lake Geneva and the Alps, measures about 65,000 square feet and houses 300 employees. The machine and assembly shops occupy the first two floors, along with after-sales service, technical departments and purchasing divisions. The 3rd floor is set aside for management, marketing, sales, accounts and a large showroom, as well as the Hublot TV studios. When workers return after the August break in 2010, the building will also serve as a training center, welcoming a
Custom Tiret Watch was recently presented in a diamond exhibition
Tiret says the watch was recently presented in a diamond exhibition at the Museum of natural history - where high range decorated Diamond watches were posted. While it is not mechanically complex, the special tired watch for Usher is a look interesting on the life of Usher and the types of products that RTO makes. According to them, the brand is only custom watches and jewellery at this time. Usher is said to have paid the sum of $250,000 for the watch to measure.
Ploprof 600 DIY cleaning
So...My ploprof bezel started to be a bit stiff, so I decided I have to be brave and pop the bezel off and give it a bit of a clean. My plan is to make this watch (all original watch) an active dive watch, which means I have to replace the crystal and crown gaskets at some point. I might replace them myself, as it would be a nice little project, and then have it tested for water proofness. So today I popped the bezel. And it was DIRTY under there. And I also found something interesting...So here we go...Some masking tape, and a small Victorinox pocket knife where my tools.Bezel came off really easily.Bezel popped off. I started to insert the blade between the case and bezel, and push inwards, no twisting at all, and it literally said pop. Then I slowly started moving the blade around the bezel, gently twisting the bezel free from the case.As you can see, there was some 10 years worth of dirt.Backside of the bezel, very dirty too...A good q-tip dry slightly moist (since I'm not sure it's
Turnaround times for RSC Toronto
Just curious if anyone has had experience with RSC in Toronto, and how long it typically takes to receive a watch back from full serviceThanks dudes
Trade in for a dress watch
So, lately my watch collection has become very slanted toward “tool watches”, especially with a 50 fathoms mil-spec on the way. I really don’t have something to wear for dressier occasions and I’ve fallen out of love with my IWC. I’m not a giant DJ or DD fan. And I prefer to keep it under 40mm.I was thinking of trading in my IWC Portuguese and FOIS (plus cash) for one of the below:1. YM 116621 brown dial2. Vacheron patrimomy traditionnelle3. H. moser center seconds with a funky blue dial.4. Lange Saxonia ultra-thin 37mm I know a YM isn’t technically a “dress watch”, but I feel with TT and a slim design, it can wear as a dressy watch.
