Jaeger-LeCoultre Offers Three New Hybris Artistica Versions Of The Spherotourbillon Watch
It would be extremely difficult even for the most educated scholars of the matter to find a time or age in the history of watchmaking that offered as many novel ideas as we have today. At present, the industry is in a phase where there is incredibly fierce and global competition between all brands, small and large alike, forcing all of them to push their own boundaries in a constant fight over an ever growing customer base. And much like the brands, us watch enthusiasts are often left with asking ourselves: just how could the latest and greatest be topped??A possible answer comes from Jaeger-LeCoultre, who just announced its Hybris Artistica collection of not one or two, but 12 spectacular piecesCeach of which could rightfully claim to be a remarkable timepiece in itself. Today, we are looking at the three Spherotourbillon pieces of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Artistica collection, while articles dedicated to the other models will follow later on.Before we discuss the watches themselve
Survey Of The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Sport Watch History
The Hour Lounge is a serious enthusiast oriented forum dedicated almost wholly to Vacheron Constantin watches. If you ever have a questions about? Vacheron Constantin watches, The Hour Lounge is the place to go. I've enjoying talking with their members on occasion who I can easily say know far more about Vacheron Constantin watches that I do. The forum moderator Alex Ghotbi, has recently posted an extensive photo essay on the history of the Vacheron Constantin sport watch - basically the Overseas. What is now the range of Overseas watch models started as a unique angular cased watch in the 1930s.? You'll noticed the finely milled case looks incredibly modern, and you'll understand where the Overseas watch got its iconic looks. Over the 20th century the look of Vacheron Constantin watches slowly evolved, but retained mostly the same character.Alex dispels the myth that the famous ref. 222 Overseas model from the 1970s was designed by Gerald Genta. It was actually created by Jorg Hysek.

Panerai 233 on a green canvas strap
Just taking delivery of my green canvas strap from time connection. Will see how my 233 likes the new shoes. Still love the storm grey from toshi straps. The leather is so soft and supple on that one. This strap feels a little stiff at the moment so am hoping it will loosen up after a few wears.
Why hasn't the 116600 SD4K price skyrocketed?
After scrolling through the Modified Rolex thread and seeing everybody post pictures of their Rolex without a Cyclops as well as the current SS boom we've had I'm curious...Why hasn't the SD4K's value rose much? From my knowledge it appears to be a short production run for the world of Rolex ('14-'17)?Would love to hear opinions as to why you believe the value hasn't gone crazy the past few months, and do you think it will ever?Happy Friday!
