3rd year warranty question
Hi Everyone,I'm getting ready to send my 15400 to Clearwater to get my pressure test for my extra warranty year. I've only had the watch a month and hate to see it go, but figured it's worth it. -I'm sending UPS 2nd day insured and including my warranty book. - I registered the watch online. Am I missing any other steps?What's a typical turnaround time?Also I need a 1.5 link so I was going to include a note to purchase one and have it installed. I would've never thought, after trying on over and over AP and never inclined to make the decision, I recently picked up my first AP. I must say that now I finally realize the attention to detail and amazing wrist presence that everyone on this forum says. I dont know if it's the angle but it looks in some pics that the bottom push button looks like it's jutting out more than the top.

New or Pre-Owned?
Hi all,I have no doubt this has been covered but can't seem to find in a quick search. I am now in a position and committed to buying my first Rolex. I have decided on a Submariner but with only two AD's here in New Zealand I am somewhat restricted with supply. My initial choice is the 116610LN which retails at $12,100NZD but comes down to $10,800 if I take advantage of picking up at airport when I go on holiday (tax off). However the wait time is around 6 months. I am off to the States in Feb and have came across Bobs Watches who offer a large selection of Pre Owned watches. For the same money as the above I can secure a two tone 16803 (1985/6 model) which looks stunning and as good as the current model at twice the money. What are your thoughts on buying a 20 year old watch in comparison to a brand new one? Thanks in advance for all comments.
