PO Decision help
I recently sold my GMT2C and have been looking around for a replacement. In the past I had a 42mm PO and gave it to a business partner. Yesterday I found out it was stolen out of his truck about a year ago. I loved the watch, but found that I liked the oyster bracelet of the Rolex much more to my liking. But I am torn. In my search for a replacement I find myself returning over and over again to the Planet Ocean. I miss the lume. The lume on the GMT2 was great for about 5 minutes - the PO like a torch for a lot longer. And I love the versatility of the rubber and I just recently just started doing searches on the mesh - and I love the retro look! Plus the AR and the matte dial - 9 out of 10 times when I looked at the PO I didn't even know what time it was!So here is my dilemma - I have had larger watches (i.e. Panerai and a couple no name 47mm pilot watches) and while I do like them now and again it kinda drives me nuts having to stuff them under sleeves - especially in the winter (I am
Geneva Salon
Does anyone have a contact email or know if they will have reduced hours between Christmas Day and New Years? I'll be traveling through the area and was hoping to check it out. I emailed PP customer service last week but didn't receive a response. Thanks!
5167R or 5167A
I love PPs. They are stunning and gorgeous. I really have an itch one. i can afford a 5167a now, but have to save for the 5167r (it could be several years). Given my collection (SS Daytona, SS milgauss GV and breitling SuperOcean on a rubber strap), what should I do?? I won't trade any of my current watches to raise $$. Your Rolex at gym/work out
In view that the question do you bring your Rolex to gym / work out constantly pops up, let's have a thread to address that. Yes, my watch follows me wherever I go, becuz the safest place is on my wrist. Let's compile yours :)
How does your AD deal with issues?
So I purchased a second watch recently from an AD, and it wasn't to my expectations (crown appeared not to always engage position 2 or 3, date seemed to change at 2am intermittently). If you purchased a new watch and it had issues from new, would you expect your AD to replace or refund, or offer a repair in the first couple of days of ownership?1. Would you expect a replacement if available2. Would you expect a refund3. Would you be happy with a repair
