Back from Clearwater
Got my Diver back from APSC. Work done under warranty and got supplemental two years warranty. Came in double boxed, priority overnight, and the watch plastic wrapped as if it came new. Got to give Betsy and the rest of the team two thumbs up! Although the watch is running +2 seconds in a 1/4 of a day (approximately +8 seconds a day I will update on how it goes in the bext 24 hours). Was sent in for 15+ seconds a day. Omega Speedmaster Pro....1171 bracelet...
Hello,My vintage Speedmaster Pro man on the moon came standard with the newer speedmaster bracelet...anyhow.... I then wanted the 1171 bracelet also....Once I fitted it.... I felt 1 thing.....THE 1171 IS CHEAP CRAP!Why do I feel this way? sure a 1680 sub has a cheaper/old style braclet also compared to the new solid end link bracelet.... but this OMEGA 1171 feels like junk.....

Sudden change in accuracy. What to do?
Hello everyone! Over the years my Aquanaut 5167 has kept near perfect time. Depending on how it was stored over night, I have been able to self-regulate it to spot on time. Although I'm not OCD with accuracy, it's precise timekeeping ability was a feature that really keeps me in love with this watch. However, about a week ago I noticed that it began loosing about 6 seconds per day. To make matters worse, there now seems to be no ability any longer to self-regulate by storing overnight in different positions.This has me puzzled. It has not been dropped, banged, or otherwise abused in any way. I don't believe it has been exposed to any electromagnetic fields. So I am not sure what would account for the sudden rate change. It was at the Patek Service Center only about 2 years ago for a full service to boot!I hate to send it back to Patek for service over 6 seconds per day. Lord knows it would likely be at the Boutique for 6 months based on the Patek service timetable and likely
