Found: One Of The Rarest Self-Winding Watches In The World, For Sale (What Is The Patek 2585?)
There are indeed some otherworldly watches coming up for sale this auction season – including these four, and this one, and all these and these. But one watch that may have slipped past your radar is the watch you see here. It doesn't look like much, does it? It's a simple steel Patek Calatrava, but what sits inside – an automatic caliber – coupled with said steel case, is what makes it so special. This is the only known example of the Calatrava reference 2585 – or in other words, it's one of the absolute rarest self-winding watches on the planet. 1 OF 5 Yup, the reference 2585 dates to 1958 and it is the only vintage steel self-winding watch from Patek to house the beautiful caliber 12'''600. This caliber is one of Patek's greatest achievements – its first automatic as seen in the likes of the 2526 – and it has several special traits. What do you think about this DeVille?
Hey everyone!I have this Omega on its way to me and I am thinking - keep or not?and here are the details:.omega.ch/index.php?id=597...031&no_cache=1What are your thoughts - or What attracted me to it was the complication - a co-axial split level chronograph (Rattrapante). This would be my first Omega, should I decide to keep it. I Thank You for your input in advance!
Come on.....
Hi all,Wow, this kinda sucks... when I put the exact time on my new 5712, using the reverse crown turn to make it exact, and I push the crown back in, the second hand continues to be blocked for some time, even have to make it move to deb lock its the time is really not exact at all, just great after my AP ceramic case cracked, getting a 5167R soon just need the sticking date issue and we'll have a homerun. This ever happened to anyone and how did you solve the problem? Thanks for your help guys
