Casio G-Shock Bluetooth Watch Revealed
A bit faster than I expected Casio has now finally debuted its first Bluetooth connected watch. The Casio G-Shock Bluetooth is designed for use with upcoming Bluetooth profile 4.0 mobile phones that are said to be coming soon (a few might already be around). As Bluetooth 4.0 is designated as a "low energy profile," this watch will retain a 2 year battery life on a single CR2032 battery. So what does it do? In a nutshell the Casio G-Shock Bluetooth with wireless sync with your phone's time, and help you manage incoming alerts as well as work with your phone's alarms.When Casio first introduced its plans to release a Bluetooth connected watch I wrote about it here with a lot of editorial. Not too much has changed in terms of function, but now we know exactly what the watch will look like and the precise features that it has. Style wise this is a pretty standard G-Shock. Glossy black with blue trim, being 53.2mm which and 18.2mm thick - not one of Casio's smaller pieces. Though at 65 gram

Speedmaster Pro time keeping...
Hi,After owning the Speedmaster Pro for 3 years, I have began to realize that it keeps better time with the chronograph running than when it is not. I have timed it (time.gov) and it is spot on with the chrono running. When it is not, the time keeping would be +6 /day (average over 1 week) I have 3 questions about my 3 years old Speedmaster Pro:1) Is it usual to have the time keeping different with the chronograph running? 2) Is there something wrong with my Speedy to have different time keeping when the chrono running and when it's not?3) Will it cause unnecessary wear and tear of the mechanism within if the chrono is left running all the time?Interestingly, when I brought it to a authorized watchmaker to check on its time keeping( with the chrono NOT running), he reports that it is spot on and does not require any regulation when it is +6/day over that 1 week.Perhaps his accuracy machine is off?Thank you all for your replies...Here's a pic of it with my Seamaster Titanium:Cheers!!

Incoming!!!!! Finally Got It!
So I want to celebrate my 1000th post with a very special incoming. I've waited to get this watch for almost a year. Last year I planned on getting it when abroad on holiday and while looking around I stumbled into a Rolex AD, as you do, and came out with the BLNR...on my birthday no less, even though other Rolex Boutiques earlier were saying they don't have any, so I couldn't pass on the opportunity as it felt right. Anyway! So then comes January and I end up with an AP RO, and the Panerai gets left behind again but still very much on my mind. So many months later, I'm focused on trying to make it happen with the purchase of the Panerai. I was going abroad again and thought I'll see if I can source something while there. I got in touch with one of my contacts and surely enough he had exactly what I wanted and offered it at an amazing price.So I sorted out payment and I was now the proud owner of a Panerai 422 and back in the Panerai family. If you had 2k laying around what watch would you buy
Need some advice for a possible next purchase.So I have been content being a one watch guy, but I would love having one more. Some things in life led me to that and no regrets could not be happier. Don't get me wrong love my Sub C date,but sometimes I get the itch for another fine piece. I had a good year at work and got a very nice bonus. After putting some in saving, adding to kids college funds etc I have a little that I could possibly play with. A lot of you guys know tons about watches and one reason I love this forum. If you had 2k what would you buy? Here are some parameters.White or blue dial Looks good on a brown or blue strap. I could possibly bump up to 2500 but ideal would like to be 1500-1700 especially preowned and need some cash for a service etc. I have always liked the Omega Aqua Terra's and some models might fall into my price range. Maybe a preowned Tudor?What else is out there? My biggest fear is trying to get something in that price range that is good q
