Inexpensive Luxury Orbita Privee RX Watch Winders Available For Beta Test
Orbita is one of a handful of manufacturers of luxury watch winders. Watch winders are devices that wind automatic watches for you while you don't wear them. Any watch collectors knows what a pain it can be to sit there and make sure all your watches are constantly wounds. Otherwise they stop, and each time you want to wear them you have to adjust the time, or more depending on the watch's complications.Watch winders are a good idea but usually notoriously expensive. Good models are made with as much quality as the watches you want to place in them, and the alternative is to buy a cheap (relatively speaking) Chinese model that often breaks. Thus, it is a constant uphill battle for owners of automatic watches to keep them wound or face paying a lot of money for a room full of watch winders. Help Identifying Royal Oak
Hi All - If there is anyone that can help me identify this Royal Oak which was just offered to me. I cannot seem to find a serial number on the caseback in the attached pictures, nor can I find a similar caseback on any RO. I also find it interesting that the clasp is stainless while the rest of the watch and bracelet are gold, although I have seen this before. Thank you in advance for your help! All the best,Adam
Is Breitling About To Go Bust
Anyone else heard this, I was in Omega Boutique today and they was really pushing to sell me something. When I made it clear I was not interested as they don't discount, and showed them my Breitling I got 20% off they told me Breitling was in trouble and had too much stock and were on verge of going bust. A case of salesperson pi**ed off not getting or going to get a sale, or is this rumour true and Breitling are in serious trouble.
Another 5711 Blue Dial available at AD in the U.S.
Just got a call from a U.S. AD I had put my name down with back in October. They just today got in a 5711 blue dial, if anyone's interested just PM me.
My first picture post....
Here is a test. I have never been able to post pictures because I'm a technology neophyte but since I've been posting on watch sites for years I decided to try and spread my wings. With that in mind I figured it's my grail that I got last year that should be first...a 5970J that was brand new when I bought it with salon papers that I traded much of my collection in for. So here goes nothing...
