Watches NEWS
What do you know?
What can you guys tell me about this piece? The picture is all I have right now. Would like to know price range as I do not think these are super rare or saught after.
Another new Cal. 8500 PO
Just some quick shots of my new Omega PO Ceramic, 42mm, with the Cal. 8500 movement. An exceptional piece, although running on the edge of COSC at +6 (off the wrist, crown up), which seems disappointing to me, we'll see if it 'settles in.' Otherwise, timed out at a superb 64 hour power reserve.Cheers,-Marc
About to make the Omega jump, Snoopy or Alaska
Does anyone know how many the Snoopy was limited to?I am really looking at getting my first Omega and have narrowed itdown to one of these.I am buying them to wear now to hide in a safe although I will likely keepthe bands new and wear it on leather or even a Nato.....
Nautilus Question
HiFor those that own a 5711 or other bracelet model Nautilus, how does the bracelet actually attach to the watch head?Im thinking aloud here - as the bracelet links obviously can attach to the watch head in some way using pins or screws etc, then why physically couldnt you attach a leather strap to the watch using the same type of fitment???Is it possible? Thanks
GMT-Master II glare: 116710LN vs 16710
I'm curious if any owners of both can comment on the older watch vs the newer one. After wearing a blue dial DJ for many years, I added a 116710LN. It seems to me to be plagued by glare much more than my old watch. I know the crystal/AR topic has been discussed a lot, and that's certainly part of it. It also seems like reflection off the perimeter of the indices contributes.Has anyone else experienced this? And are the 5-digit watches, better, worse, or the same on this front? Thanks.
