Zenith El Primero Tourbillon
When Jean-Fr��d��ric Dufour took the reigns at Zenith in 2009, he shifted the brand away from over-the-top styling with a “back to basics” message and an emphasis on product. Speaking with WatchTime’s Norma Buchanan for her profile Inside Guy in the December issue, Dufour said “I will devote all my energy, all my money, to El Primero, to make Zenith different from the others.” True to his word, Zenith launches the El Primero Tourbillon. Zenith emphasizes this new piece it is not simply a tourbillon. Beyond that difficult-to-achieve complication, it is of course a chronograph, with a unique calendar display, in which the signature 36,000 vph frequency is retained, making it the only high-frequency tourbillon on the market today.The dial’s asymmetric aesthetic highlights the tourbillon's mechanism, visible through an opening in the dial, while maintaining the overall proportions and lines. Rubber Clad Back From Clearwater Today With Black Datewheel
Just got my G rubber clad back from a full spa treatment and had them replace the datewheel with the black wheel. Amazed at AP Clearwaters level of service and they beat there estimate by a month!

Pro's/Cons of WG vs YG vs EG Daytonas.....
..........I'm asking this b/c I'm now thinking more and more about getting the Daytona over the Gold YM, but still haven't seen the former in person. Among the Daytona models, I thought for sure the WG version was the way to go b/c the silver dial is so striking against the black ceramic bezel and strap, and the white gold is obviously more subtle and less attention grabbing than either YG or EG.Having said that, my one concern with the silver dial on the WG version is dial legibility. Since the YG and EG have a few options with either YG dial/black dial or EG/black dial combos, for those who have various dial combos in YG or EG, can you share your pics and experiences with dial legibility? And for the record, my eyes aren't failing me....lol. I'm just coming from having a LV sub and a PAM 1312, both of which are super easy to read at a glance, and which I love about the watches, and which got me to love the YM (along with its matte black bezel). London best shopping/browsing ??
I'm midlands based and taking a trip to London tomorrow (Saturday). I'm going alone so i can browse till my heart is content and I'm really interested in looking at Tudors old and new and who knows I may pick up a Black Bay Red on a bracelet if I can get a deal ( is 10 or 15 % realistic?)Even if I don't end up buying I'm intent on having a look at as many Ad's and used /vintage dealers as I can. Anyone have any suggestions as to which areas to concentrate on ?Thanks.

Just a friendly reminder
Currently I have my BLNR on an Everest strap. While giving the watch and band a little soapy bath, I noticed the screw was loose on my tang buckle. It is now tightened and secured with a little loctite. Make sure to check your bands And a picture just for fun.
