Dievas Timeattack Chronograph Watch
When I first saw this watch I was trying to determine what it reminded me of. Then I realized the colors on the dial of white, yellow, and orangey red struck me as very Speed Racer. That seemed to make sense for a racing themed watch called the Timeattack Chronograph by Dievas. Made in Germany now with their tougher steel and PVD processes, Dievas makes an assortment of rather handsome, rather price effective timepieces.Much of the watch says "diver." The case is water resistant to 300 meters and even has screw down pushers and a crown. It has a 5mm thick sapphire crystal and also comes with a water-proof "NyTech" textile strap. Deivas also throws in a NATO strap. So basically it is a modern retro racer diver with all the boldness of a neon diner signage.The Timeattack is placed in a 43mm wide steel case. Incoming today, very happy of my choice, the dial is true white and my first white Panerai. The final choice was between the PAM563 and this one. Ok, the dial is busy, but what to expect from a Chrono, and I love the position of the date, although many purists say a date does not belong on a Chrono, I love it.The brushed luminor case sits nicely on the wrist and with the shiny tachymeter bezel....beautiful contrast. The chrono pushers are nicely integrated in the also shiny crown guard. Remark that the lever of the crownguard is the other way.First thing I had to do is to change the strap as I'm not a big fan of folding clasps. Next this watch will be my companion for the summer and water activities, whenever the summer decides to come here....

Heard from a solid source that a white dial ss DD is dropping Basel this year, as well as a ss Pepsi GMT II. Several DD-owning friends said there's no way Rolex would drop one in ss, but I don't see why not, seeing as they've done similar things with other references, such as the Sky-D. Do you guys think an ss version of the venerable classic would become the most popular?

New 2018 dial printing "SWISS ♛ MADE"
This coronet logo now appears at the bottom of the dial at the 6 O'Clock position between the usual SWISS MADE.Anyone know what it signifies apart from the fact that the watch is virtually unobtainable what is the official answer and is it significant to you?
