Swatch Group Takes Over Swiss Movement Maker Tanzarella Ltd.
Swatch Group announced today that it will take over Swiss-based watch movement maker Tanzarella Ltd. The takeover, effective July 12, will be achieved by transferring Tanzarella assets to a newly-founded Swatch Group company called Assemti Ltd. The new company will operate from Tanzarella’s present location in Riazzino / Locarno. The Swatch Group Ltd. will acquire the Tanzarella’s building from Credit Suisse. Tanzarella employs 236 people, all of whom will join the new company. The former owner, Mr. Enrico Tanzarella, will remain with the company as the director of operations. Previously Tanzarella worked exclusively for ETA SA Manufacture Horlog��re Suisse, a company of The Swatch Group Ltd.The takeover comes on the heels of the passing of Swatch Group founder and chairman Nicolas Hayek on June 28. Unveiled in January at the SIHH 2011 event, the new Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosa 3 days 47 mm (PAM 379) Manual-Wind watch will be sold as a Special Edition with only 299 timepieces model to achieve the few lucky. Like many other historic "watches revealed this winter by Officine Panerai, the new timekeeper is equipped with a movement of the hand-wound made manufacturing."

ROC Lume Longevitiy
Hello,How long does the lume coating typically last on the ROC? Is it reasonable to expect the lume to continue absorbing light after a few years? Thanks!

Panerai Warranty
The two-year warranty on my Panerai (purchased from authorized dealer) will be coming due later this year. Is there anything I should be looking for before then so that I can make a timely warranty claim. The watch seems to keep good time, as far as I can tell.Thanks for any thoughts on this.
