Introducing The Modillian Bluetooth Smart Watch Strap Buckle
The Modillian is the first "smart strap" for watches and aims to bridge the gap between traditional timepieces and the emerging smartwatch industry. If you've been following watches-dealer's coverage of smartwatches, then you know we typically bring up a very important question. That being, at what point we will see a smartwatch so appealing that it forces us to take off our high-end mechanical watches and put on what is essentially a wearable communication gadget? With the Modillian, many people will perhaps get to enjoy both. What is the Modillian? Essentially it is a replacement ardillon buckle (the term for the basic pin and loop style buckle most watch straps have) for watch straps that has a Bluetooth connection and vibrates in order to alert the wearer to notification such as incoming calls, missed calls, and new messages. Modillian was created by two engineers in Israel who love the promise of smartwatches, but are also serious mechanical watch guys. For them, the Modillian is a
Watch Complications: A Brief History Of Useful To Useless
It seems these days, that in order to get truly noticed in this crowded watch market, the watch companies have taken the complication pact to boldly go where no one has gone before. It seems that the one-upmanship of each new watch release keeps breaking the sound barrier of mechanical complications : coaxial; tourbillion; moon phase; fly backs; geographic world time; minute repeater; perpetual calendars; split second chronograph; jumping hours; spitting frogs; dancing Bears; Topo Gigio. I'm ready to throw in the towel and wave the white flag I'm finally finding these complications to be unreadable, overkill, distracting, and above all, really get in the way of what a watch is supposed to dotell you the time.Of course, I must take off my hat and bow down to the gods of mechanical watch design who had the vision and conceptual ability to dream these mechanical wonders up, and actually bring them to reality in a finished product. But, enough is enough already. In order to understand h
The rate of the Breguet watch is the average rate of two whirlpools
The rate of the watch is therefore the average rate of two whirlpools, making his two movement also said that a normal. The time is illustrated by the bridge that connects regulators double as a watch hand whirlpool, while the minutes are indicated by a standard hand at the centre.Impeccable finishing and spectacular new engraving work on the back of the line underscore another movement this exceptional timepiece appeals.
Happy Sport model was a winner for Chopard
The renamed Happy Sport model was a winner for Chopard since its launch in 1993. Time and again she has evolved in the special editions with mobile gems in the form of the Chinese zodiac, clover, Horseshoe, hearts and letters L-O-V-e.
One more of what would you do?
I have an AP Diver that I really like but I have always have my doubts if its too large and honestly it is not the most comfortable watch in my stable. I end up always going back to my SS Daytona and my No date Sub.I am having some thoughts if I should even keep the diver or look for different option, as I always come back to Rolex an option might be 2 Rolex for the diver or spice it up a little and try something else with the risk of going back to my Rolex rotation, I also have a 15400 and I do like it a lot and use it regularly as it is very comfortable, for me comfort is as important as quality and design, I don't want to put a lot of money if decided to switch. Not even sure if I am willing to do it, I do love my diver just want to hear different opinions.Any thoughts? Thanks
