Audemars Piguet outdid themselves for 2017 in the ROO collection.
The 2017 SIHH offerings were exceptional and I had to be a part of it.First off, the new 26401RO subtly overtook the old generation. I was in denial since I owned the previous model. The new RO color scheme just works much better when on the wrist. With the black subdials, the dial itself looks less busy and lets the details really shine especially with the rose accents. The old RO was a hit in photos, but on the wrist it was too much going on. Was it worth the premium to upgrade to the new RO? Yes absolutely!If your spending this much money on something, why not spend a bit more instead of settling.The unexpected star of the show is the 26400IO. I purchased both of these timepieces sight unseen. When I arrived the IO SCREAMED at me. Just like any other Royal Oak, PICTURES DONT DO JUSTICE! Forged Carbon Diver or ROO Chrono?
I am considering a plunge back into AP. I have owned 3 AP's in the past SS Diver, Volcano, and 15400. All three are gone but I am getting the AP bug once again. Between the FC Diver and the new Style 42mm ROO Chrono's which do you gents prefer?

Strap Recommendation
I'll soon be the proud owner of a 2255.80 and I'll be looking to get a brown strap to go with it. Does anyone have a recommendation for a strap that fits and looks good with the blue dial? I think I'll want one that's a bit darker, maybe a mahogany shade. Thanks in advance.
