Distribution strategy
What do you think of Omega's current push to limit AD numbers and move to boutiques?A couple of years ago you could easily get 30% off and today the few AD's left hesitate to go over 10%.I believe Omega is trying to increase brand awareness and allure, and probably increase resale values but I haven't seen used prices move up, have you? What do you think will ultimately happen? Will it pan out?
Would you buy a 5970p without papers?
I checked that watch is not stolen but papers were misplaced by original owner.I know I can get archive papers next year (after 5 years) but would you buy one without papers - assuming there is a $10-$15k discount on the price (from what a normal complete PP 5970p would cost).watch is still in original seal from Patek....thanks in advance!

Trilogy: Batman or Pepsi or something completely different
Hi guys, My first post here, I've been lurking on this forum since getting my first Rolex a few months back. In three months I've turned into a total watch fiend, I am genuinely suprised at how quickly this has progressed. I picked up a new Explorer 1 39mm and luckily enough also managed to get my hands on a Sub no date the month after. I love both and really think these are probably the two best looking and perfectly formed watches ever. But already I have a wandering eye and I'm looking at 1, possibly 2 more watches to complete the collection.I was initially thinking of the original Moonwatch but tbh the quality really seems lacking when I tried it on side by side with the sub and ex. I love the history but it's not doing it for me on the wrist - it feels a bit flimsy and cheap. I went through a Pelagos stage too, but in the end decided it was too similar to my sub. While I've also been admiring the new GMT Pepsi, I can't help but think it's going to light up like a disco ball on the w
43 for 52
Got back last week from a great family vacation in Cancun. I happen to turn 52 and was blessed enough to pick up a SD43 on my birthday.
