Japanese Watches Test Marketable Features
One of the wonderful things about Japan is the wealth of gadgets and electronics they produce. There, they have a totally different mentality that the US when it comes to new technology or products. In Japan, it seems as though they release some items to market and watch and see what occurs. Sometimes things catch on, other times they don't, but they realize that markets are incredibly hard to gauge. The US on the other hand will take forever before releasing a product to make sure that marketing, advertising, and consumer opinion all align. And still the result is often unpredictable.Lucky for watch fans, Japan takes this same approach with the watches it makes. Japanese and European watches share very little in common. Does anyone play tennis with their AP ROO on their wrist? Looks like stan wawrinka is playing with a stock ROO. Not sure if AP's watch will take that kind of abuse. AP definitely will supply unlimited number of ROOs for him to wear. So he can careless if the movement inside is destroyed after each match.

Hi All,Stepping away from the Rolex boards to make my first post here in Omega World. Simply, I'm trying to get some info on a watch I own.I was given this by my grandmother a year after my grandfather died. It was 1978 and I was 12 years-old. Since then it's spent most of its life in a safe deposit box. Now it's back on my wrist, and I've just been very curious to know what I've got here. It's got an 18K Gold stamp between the lugs, and that's about it. It hasn't been opened, so I'm afraid I can't get the serial number. But, knowing what year and any other details would be helpful. Also, I need to fill out my home owners insurance items, so an appraisal (even ballpark) would be great.Thanks so much, guys!

Tudor Man Of Steel
I was out looking for the Black Rose(BBN ETA). No such luck. But fell instantly for the MOS. Great Steel Bezel with the red triangle at noon. Superman-it is. Nice simple look but with a date and almost looks cleaner like a 2 line text since the wr is in red. Not many of these out there yet-it’s definitely a looker. It’s beautiful. 70 hour power reserve. Bought it with both leather and rivet bracelet. I’m a big fan of the rivet bracelet. I think it’s super cool. Anyway I wanted to introduce my watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
