Introducing The Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 4
Today we've got the latest installment in Harry Winston's Histoire De Tourbillon series, a collection of watches meant to explore various directions in which the tourbillon can evolve. The Histoire De Tourbillon 4 features a unique triple-case tourbillon in an attempt to counteract the effects of gravity from all angles, as unlike the pocketwatches for which the tourbillon was invented, our wristwatches are constantly in motion. 2 OF 3 Triple Cage Tourbillon The tourbillon mechanism in this watch is one of the most complex out there. There are three concentric cages, each of which sits at a different angle in relation to the cage outside of it, and each of which rotates at a different speed. The outermost cage completes a revolution once every 300 seconds (5 minutes), the intermediate cage rotates once every 75 seconds, and the innermost cage spins once every 45 seconds.? 3 OF 3 Titanium Bridges and Plates As part of it's push for accuracy, the His

3rd Year Warranty on ROC
Thought I'd share the experience of getting the pressure test for the 3rd year warranty on my ROC. Shipping - After a lot of research here at TRF, I decided to send it USPS insured Registered Mail. Yeah, it took 5 days to get there and packing it with that old school brown tape was a pain but it was fully covered. I think it was about $42 all in. I double boxed the watch and sent the book with it. At Clearwater - AP called when they received it and emailed me a ticket#. I was technically 4 weeks past my 2yr mark but AP didn't seem to care. They gave me an estimate of 6 weeks to do the test. I thought that was a bit long, but wasn't concerned. They called yesterday to say it was done and to expect a Fedex today. It took them 3 weeks. The process was straight forward and they were professional.Back home - pic attached. I got the 3rd year stamp in my book and the watch is running great. Glad I got it done.
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 2007 Mfg.
Gentlemen:Although new to this forum I am not new to watch collecting.I have recently picked up a PO from 2007. I noticed that it does not have the little round logo on the case back, next to Ocean. Did some search on the Internet and noticed a few others from 2007 that are similar in this respect. Can you offer any insight as to why some have it and others do not?T.I.A.
Speedmaster manual wind
How many turns of the crown does it take to wind a manual wind Speedmaster? And how often do you have to wind - every day? every other day? Thanks.
