I love this watch...
Ok guys I love this 26331 gold with brown dial but will have to part with one or more watch in my collection to get it.I think giving up the Presidential is a no brainer. But what else would you be willing to give up or have given up to get your grail watch?
Boutique Experiences
Looking to buy my first AP and am ready to put a deposit down on a 15202. I wanted to know which one has the best experience. I've heard that boutiques offer a 5 yr warranty and first service included. Also heard that some people have gotten swag and even been invited to events (which I think would be a very cool experience, when spending tens of thousands). I realize a discount may be slim to none ata boutique let alone on this piece. Can anyone shed a light on where might be there best boutique to go?Thanks for the insights
Vintage Seamaster Chrono 176.007
Just spotted this in a local watch shop, it's a bit rough around the edges, lost its original crown and one of the pushers is wrong size. Other than that it is really clean on the inside and running well. Hopefully pick it up tomorrow. What's not to like?
trying to find a LM PO (Ltd) ... sigh
I used to see them online all the time, one or two , here or there. Haven't seen one in over a monthAnyone see one kicking around for sale or trade?
What causes natural fading of GMT bezels?
Is it the sun that naturally fades those beautiful pepsi bezel inserts on the GMT's? Salt water? I assume a new genuine bezel will eventually age gracefully just as the old ones have, do you think that's a reasonable assumption? I'm not in any hurry for mine to fade, I'll let it develop organically, but just wondering what does it, and if it's still viable on a new insert. Thanks for your insights!JCATT
