TAG Heuer, Google, And Intel Partner To Launch New Smartwatch
Last year, after introducing a new in-house movement and investing CHF 40 million in a factory to support the production of that movement, TAG Heuer had a change of heart. Or, more specifically, TAG Heuer CEO (and LVMH Watch Division President) Jean-Claude Biver had a change of heart.The company shifted directions, presumably to cater to a broader market for lower-priced watches. It seems that mass-produced, in-house column-wheel chronograph movements were not part of that business strategy and so the release of the new movement was nixed, along with the Carrera CH80 and the manufacturing facility in Chevenez, Switzerland. I've been eyeing the 44mm rose gold ROO for a while, and I finally pulled the trigger! Thanks to Peter (aka Lee2375) for the smooth purchase. Definitely stretched the budget to get this, and although I might have to sleep on the couch for the next year, totally worth it!

Patek Scarf and visit to Patek Geneva
Hi all!We just got back from our trip and had the most incredible time! After reading about trips people on the forum have made to Patek Geneva, we had really high expectations. We were 100% blown out of the water -- it was such a special experience in every way. My fianc�� even left with a 5067A! And I haven't even mentioned the amazing time we had at the incredible Patek museum!!The Patek team was also very generous with some gifts. One item we received was a 2015 Patek scarf for my fianc��. Somehow/someway between the trip home and the subsequent travels we went on, we lost the scarf. I'd like to surprise my fianc�� and replace it, but have no idea how to go about doing so (in my brief online search I wasn't able to find one).Any ideas/suggestions -- or does anyone have one they don't need and want to sell?Thanks as always!

As much as I love this watch I have to sell it, It's hard for me being the kind of guy who buys watches to keep them, but unfortunately I fell in love with another watch which is very expensive, a Blancpain, and of course it is quite expensive even though I am getting a great deal with my favorite grey dealer plus detax since I live more than 6 months a year in Ukraine.I never thought I would one day sell some of my watches, I am also selling my Daytona 116515 rose gold with ceramic bezel, which I also love but the Blancpain being also rose gold I don't see myself having 2 gold watches, and anyways don't have the financial capacity to keep it and get the Bancpain, it's a heart breaker but I really fell for it.Has anyone here also had to sell watches that they love but to buy another that they love even more?
