Had the chance to try one on this weekMy first impression when i saw the pics from SIHH were WTF a Aquatimer because of the yellow inner ringBut i must say when i saw the watch and trying it on.. It isn't all that badThe weight is super comfortable and my favorite is the Ceramet bezel which is pretty much scratch free.I would have loved it in all black but you can't have it allAnyway here's the pics of it

Favorite Strap/bracelet option for Speedy
So I find my Speedmaster doesn't get enough wrist time, losing out to my other watches. Was wondering what you speedy owners wear yours on. A NATO, band, bracelet? I was never a huge fan of the Speedmaster bracelet so I wear on various bands. What about you all??Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speedmaster Pro loose sweeping second hand
Hi all. My Speedmaster Pro has recently started acting up. When I start the sweeping second hand, it gets stuck after 2 seconds. If I stop and start, it will restart. When stuck, if I tap the watch against my hand on the 6 o'clock side of the watch, the hand will move to that side. I don't think the hand is loose because the issue is intermittent (wishful thinking).Thoughts? Anyone know a good watch guy in the SJ Bay Area?

Has the Panerai bubble burst?
In the last few years Panerai has grown from a cult brand to a mainstream one and now produces so many models and variations, even a hardcore collector and enthusiast such as myself cannot even keep up. I love the little details that Panerai has done from year to year and liked how they produced limited numbers of pieces which were all rather unique in their own right (Panerai 127, 232, 249, 36 etc to name a few). These pieces were sought after because of its availability but also its unique look and history.Fast forward to today and many of the guys I know that used to have every Panerai under the sun including all the different variations have started to dump their collection as too many models started looking alike and Panerai didn't seem to stick to their core models, designs and heritage.
