Historical Perspectives: Your Complete Guide To The Watches Of United States Presidents
On this President’s Day, we thought we would pull together as comprehensive a list as we can of US presidential watches. We're talking all the way from Washington to Obama, from Timexes to a Patek Philippe. Some loved watches and others simply wore them out of necessity. You might be surprised with what some of our presidents had sitting in their pockets and on their wrists. We hope you enjoy it. Is this too blasphemous? Should I just put the NATO on a Sub? What do you guys think?
Great morning with Aquanaut
As I was having breakfast I noticed my watch reflecting the gorgeous morning outside. I could not resist taking picture.
Legacy watches.
With a heavy yet proud heart I put on my dad's datejust today for the first time since he passed. The watch is nothing special and not my style. However, the since of pride I felt this morning wearing it brought great memories. I'd love to see others legacy watches or hand me downs and also love to hear any stories that may be associated with them. I always remember playing catch with my dad and my son and him always fiddling with the watch coming out of the mit when he caught a ball. Most of the time he'd take it off and had it to my daughter to hold. She always looked at it with so much admiration and sense of importance that he'd trust her holding it. Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to share. We all know how special Rolex's are and the stories known only to the owners that are associated with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
