Avakian Watch Concept 1
You may know Avakian as a high-end jewelry and watch store. Avakian has a watch line as well. They have had watches for some time, but this is a very high-end and complex model for them. It is called (I believe) the Concept 1. Yes, there are many design cues taken from other watch makers. Richard Mille and Cvstos have a lot in common with this watch, as well as from other luxury models. It doesn't matter that as a whole it is not ultra unique, but rather than in all, it is an interesting and fun design.The watch was released officially almost a year ago, but that is pittance in "watch time," where models can take a while to reach market, at least in any numbers. The watches will be sold exclusively through Avakian boutiques around the world. This week thanks to Montblanc North America, we had two pretty spectacular timepieces from the very highest end of the Montblanc horological ecosystem in the office. On Monday, we went hands on with the Montblanc Collection Villeret Tourbillon Cylindrique Geosphères Vasco da Gama, with its combination of a very artistically done world time/GMT function and a very large, 18,000 vph tourbillon with a cylindrical hairspring, and we talked about the relationship between navigation at sea, the marine chronometer, and the development and purpose of the cyclindrical hairspring. AP ROC 26320 RG question
Why is it so difficult to find a pre owned ROC 26320 RG with strap? I know this particular model sells very well but there seems to be no pre owned one in the market? How come?... For a brand new one, how much discount should I expect from a gray market dealer or an AD?Also I hear the AP doesn't hold its value as much as a rolex in the pre owned market...how true is that?Thanks in advance

hey everyone, i havent had a chance to post anything about my watch but i have had it for about 2 weeks now and i would like to say a few words about it.i think its amazing, i love it. its fast about 5 seconds in 2 days which is good i think. i will take some pics and post them and try to get in a better review other than this. my advice is go and buy one.its an amazing watch, it looks good and gets a lot of comments and praises. it just feels good on my wrist. ill try and post the pics up by tomorrow.

Interesting how the 116719 has the old 3186 movement.
Just been admiring the White Gold Pepsi with a Blue dial and saw that it still had the 3186 movements fitted. Are we to take from that that they have used existing cases and supplemented them with the addition of a blue dial and are using up the older movement as this will fit with no messing around with the case?Obviously, the 116710LN, 116710BLNR and the 116713 and 116718 are all remaining with the 3186 movements too......... but for how long?
