Aquanaut/5711 - scratch magnets?
Hi all,How does the Aquanaut and Nautilus hold up being worn daily when it comes to scratches?I am wearing my GMT Master as a daily at present as I can't cope with how easily my AP Royal Oak Chrono picks up scratches. It's not had much wrist time since the honeymoon period when I bought it in November due to living in fear of catching it when worn! Kind of thinking of moving it on for one of the above, but would like to hear whether it will be out of the frying pan and into the fire. Has anyone had both an AP and Patek in stainless, and found one more durable than the other? Maybe I should just get over my scratch OCD but easier said than done
Nice piece , great movement
Hi,I am seeking your opinion on the vintage Patek Calatrava 3514.Is it a good piece to collect in terms of its movement (caliber 27-460M), rarity, and design?I see a wide range of pricing for this model? What is a reasonable price for a mint piece today? Thanks in advance for your input.
Pam 499?
Anyone have any pics of the 499 and any thoughts on this piece are welcomed. Only wish it had the power reserve indicator as well. Thinking about getting one. Currently have BLNR and a black chronomat evolution with roman numerals. Looking for something white or silver to change things up a bit. Thanks
Good Price on a used Grey Dial Datejust 36?
Hello all,Im a long time lurker, but as the topic states. I was wondering what a good starting price for a used grey dial 36mm datejust (Fluted bezel) would be. The significance or rarity isn't really a concern. Completely in the dark in terms of what a good value would be, and any potential pitfalls. Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you,Bo
Milgauss 116400GV
HiI rarely see people talking about Milguass - neight the new blue dial or the old one. Milgauss is one of the Vintage Rolex - at least in the book.. but rarely seen in the market or even people wearing. How so?I am in the market for 116400GV - black dial with green saphire. Anyone owning and want to share impression? Also, anyone who used to own it please share your love-hate relationship too.Looking forward to the outcome from this forum :) :) :)By the way, is the Milgauss classified as Sport or Dress? The clasp is very unique. The look is mixed between typical DateJust and Explorer for me.
