So Here I Am!
PS: I hope will be better then now!PS2: I read somewhere sometimes dont fit better one half-link fits better then two, I mean Sometimes, and especially here where I live, I have 4 season in one day, Hot, Very Hot, Warm, Cold, RainITS TRUE?BTW my Wrist 16cm, 6,3 InchMy Opinion, now its 7 links with one half-link in 6 Oclock position, and 6 link with one-half link in 12 Oclock side.My wrist now swelled and now Its tight, and I like my watch can slide in my wrist but of course not so much. Here are the results:What do you guys Think About it?And should I remove a link and just let one one link and half link in each side?Or let like thisTks!
Incase it helps with the usual 5711/15202 decision
I wrote to ap and patek, asking about how their watch would hold up in comparison to a rolex for persuits such as gym, swim, dive, saunas and steam rooms. I explained being experienced with omega and rolex yet wanting something more special, just that I was concerned about if they need babying....Patek saidWith regards to the 5711/1A this piece was initially produced as a divers watch, it is water resistant to 120m. In the realm of divers watches, such as the Rolex or Omega equivalent, the nautilus is more than a match for them. with its screw down crown and porthole design it is has been engineered to be used in water, and other testing environments. I hope you enjoy the 5711 when you receive it and you will find with timepiece very comfortable and light when swimming.Ap said the Royal Oak ref. #15202 has a water resistance of 50m. The timepiece is resistant to splashes (when showering or washing your hands), or surface immersion (swimming). However, please remember that temperature
A what age you bought your 1st Patek ?
My first Patek was really my 1st High end watch. I started with watches in May 2012, so for the last 6 months of 2012 I bought JLC, Rolex, Omega, etc; Until my 41 birthday on January 2013, I post a thread called Is Hobnail the Final Answer? Let's call a friend just in case . On that thread I was convinced that if I was going to pull the trigger for something that expensive like a Patek it had to be the strongest representation of the brand something that set it a part from the rest. So I thought well it gotta be a hobnail bezel, to make a long story short after arguing about all these Calatravas and frustrated with the case sizes and proportions at the end (after 50 replies or whatever ) I said screw it; I am not buying a Calatrava and bought a 5712 I was 41photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpgphoto 3.jpgnautilus copy.JPG
Is the new Rootbeer really a Rootbeer
Is the new Root-beer in its current form of RG Rolesor and RG with Black/Brown bezel really a Root-beer?If Rolex were to add a YG GMT Master with yellow GMT hand, yellow GMT Master font and a chocolate sunburst dial, I'd think this is more of a traditionally styled Root-beer. Perhaps an all brown bezel.I'm usually against nicknames, but I'd argue the new GMT Master in RG and RG Rolesor is more deserving of another Soda nickname, Birch-beer But that's just me. Thoughts?
