Tag Heuer Monza Automatic Chronograph Calibre 36
The figures are very retro looking and they used a cream colored lume described in blue (to match the hands). Bi-compax dial layout for the chronograph is appropriate and the watch is the 36 automatic Calibre. I believe that it is in fact an automatic high-beat Primero El Zenith. It is one of the most sought-after movements of Tag, and you can see through the Sapphire display back.
Overview of Omega straps?
Does someone have a link to someplace online where you can get an overview of all original Omega straps? Like the catalog that they have at an Omega Boutique?- via iPhone
Speedmaster Pro - 861 - My First Post
Hi All,wanted to finally contribute to TRF. I've been lurking and reading for months now, plus I wouldn't mind some input from other members on a query I have. Query is at the end for those who want to skip the saga. Because prior to pumping the forum for info I thought, given it is holiday season (for some) down here in Sydney Australia as well as elsewhere around the globe, I'd waffle on a bit and relay my story/experiences re: my own speedie pro and how I got here and what I see my next watch purchase being and why. I totally got the bug with the Speedie years ago. Maybe in 2008. I'm 38 now and at the time it simply seemed an unobtainable dream. It seemed like a lot of money in fact for a watch. I was very new to mechanical watches (no idea). One of my main entry points to mechanical watches was the idea of not having to get involved with batteries. I've always liked watches and had digital calculator watches and other slightly fancy things along the way. My Dad bought me
Ploprof Rubber and Mesh exchanging
Hi Again. In my my previous post I asked for advise on whether to buy my New Ploprof with a rubber strap or mesh bracelet. I had great response but as sort of expected it was about 60/40 in favour of the Mesh. I think I may buy both rubber and the mesh but was wondering how difficult it is to change them yourself save having to go to your AD everytime you want to do it. Has anyone any advise please on doing this and is it risky for fear of scratching the case???
How water resistant is the GMT Master II
Is anyone aware of any aftermarket testing on the GMT IIc maxi-case. I know it is only officially rated to 100m, but with the trip lock crown I am guessing it is much better. Has anyone tested this in a chamber to see how low it will go?
