Jumbo 1-1/2 Link Thoughts
Still trying to figure out the bracelet on this one. I acquired a 1-1/2 link a while back and have been replacing it on and off with two regular links when the weather heats up or cools down. Would love to find a good happy medium where I don't have to visit the boutique every 4 months! Here are my thoughts, which I'm hoping some of you Jumbo wearers can comment on. The 1-1/2 link isn't really 1-1/2 of a regular link at all...it's more like 1-1/3 of a regular link (8mm versus 6mm). My thought is to have TWO of the 1-1/2 links put in place of THREE regular links. My math works out to a net loss of 2mm using this set-up...which in my mind is not a combination that you can achieve easily with only 1-1/2 link in the bracelet. I'd have to spring for another half link, but it may solve the problem.I know I'm over-thinking this but the bracelet is driving me nuts without a micro-adjustment. I'd hate to have to give up the watch simply becasue of frustration with sizing the bracelet.

Daily Wear Tudor dilemma
Has anyone else experience a similar dilemmaFor some time I've been looking a round for daily wear such as a beaten up 70's Tudor sub 90910 or similar, I had a tip off that a watch maker had potentially one that was up for grabs, the case was described as battered with nick scratches and minus its strap, bezel missing and crystal scratched to kingdom come and the movement wasn't functioning. I gave the watch maker a call and after a few sentences the conversation turned to what I owned, how long had I been collecting etc I gave a brief rundown and tried to get the conversation back on track, long story short the watchmaker was intending to use the Tudor as a donor watch for spares unless I wanted to sell or part exchange one of my watches as a sweetener, I inquired how much he valued the beaten up Tudor at..... 1,800, I thanked him for his time and said id give it some thought.....I think it may have been all of 2 seconds ???? so there you have it just what I was looking for and yet
Need Advise: Trading 36 with 41
I need some advice please, I currently have a 36mm two-tone datejust and I would like to trade for a 41mm in rosegold chocolate dial...the only reason I want to trade is because some of my friends told me it looks small on my wrist...my wrist is exactly 7 inches..I will also add I bought the 36 mm in April 2017 and by trading I will lose approx $3000...I bought 36mm for $ 10,000 and I am getting an offer for $7000...it still has some of the stickers on..any advice would be really appreciated..
