Massive Tourneau Las Vegas Flagship Watch Store
Photo credit: TourneauFreshly returned from my Las Vegas trip I am left with the distinct impression that high-end Las Vegas hotels are a watch lover's dream. The plethora of watch stores, available brands, models, and timepiece enthusiasts is enough to envelop you in surreal atmosphere were rare and beautiful watches seem commonplace. While I intend to speak more generally about the watch shopping environment in Las Vegas, the focal point of any Las Vegas watch outing should be the Tourneau store located in Forum Shoppes in the Caesar's Palace Hotel and Casino.Tourneau is a New York based chain of watch stores. Appropriately, they carry a multitude of brands from the affordable mainstream to the ultra-high-end. Each store has differing brands based upon the location, but expect to find no less than 15-20 watch manufactures including Tag Heuer, Rolex, Breitling, and Longines. Brands located in the store as many high-end watch makers prefer to have just one authorized dealer in a given
Bring a Loupe: Chronometers And Chronographs From Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, Universal Geneve, And Many Others
The watches you see today in Bring A Loupe don't joke around. You can expect to find the aptly named Chronometre Royal from Vacheron Constantin with all its original chronometer certificates. No less precise is the Zenith 40T, a testimony of this manufacture's ability to reach extreme precision. We also bring you a full set Daytona, and a far-from-perfect Universal Geneve Uni-Compax. This is your Bring A Loupe for April 1, 2016. A Zenith Chronometre With Caliber 40T 1 OF 11 The dial of this Zenith reveals so much about this chronometer, even quoting the name of its caliber 40T in a very interesting script above the seconds sub-register. Zenith boasts incredible credentials when it comes to chronometer movements, its caliber 135 notably winning the chronometer competition from the Neuchatel Observatory for nothing less than 5 years in a row, from 1950 to 1954. The 40T is of smaller dimensions but displays the same level of quality and precision, through a simple ye

Why is there no love for Panerai 531 GMT
I'm new to the Panerai world and doing my reading. While in Las Vegas, I had a chance a while back to try on the 531 GMT. I really like it! A lot! Of course they wouldn't budge an inch on the price. As I look for reviews and opinions on the 531, I feel there is no love for this model 531. What little I read, tells me professional reviewers like it - but opinions here are indifferent, at best? I also notice there isn't much love for steel bracelets (which I also like)on other models, but this I sorta understand. I just don't understand the lack of love for the 531 GMT. Is it just the general look? The movement is good from what I read. Iffy on earlier 9000, but ?I'm also liking the 351, but I'm really curious about the feelings on 531.
