The Longines Heritage Diver 1967 (Live Pics & Pricing)
Over the past few years, Longines has done a particularly fine job reviving its rather interesting past. As one can clearly see when watching the likes of a mega-collector Alfredo Paramico wax poetically about the brand, it is clear there is much to work with. This year at Basel, we saw some nice, reasonably priced and well designed classics brought back to life. Here is the Heritage Diver 1967. 1 OF 6 This bordeaux-bezeled beauty takes inspiration from a watch initially produced and sold back in 1967, originally powered by the excellent caliber 30CH. Now, the diving chronograph is revived in 42 mm featuring the Calibre L688.2, a column-wheel chrono made by ETA exclusively for Longines. I have a speedmaster pro from moon to Mars. I would like to put a leather strap on it. What size do I order 18mm or 20mm. Thinking of purchasing a Hirsch strap. Thoughts please.
Waves!
Although the new SMP is stunning with that ceramic bezel and flat dial, I will miss the waves on the Seamaster dial. Here are a few pics to help appreciate their beauty.
5650G deliveries have arrived!
Patek is delivering the 5650G to ADs in the US... This one was delivered and sold.I'm amazed at the speed these watches have turned up at ADs. Anyone else seen this watch yet in the wild?
