In-Depth: Introducing The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic 1958 (Live Photos, Full Specs, Official Pricing
I get a lot of joy out of writing about new releases, but only those that I think are really well done. Frankly, it’s not often I can say that a brand new watch is offering you ( / me / us) a whole lot, but today, with this new Jaeger-LeCoultre, I can it say it and mean it. You’re looking at the new JLC Geophysic 1958 family. This 38.5mm watch will be available in stainless steel, rose gold, and platinum (all in limited numbers), features a heaping dose of vintage inspiration, and offers a lot of technology we want in a cutting edge piece of modern horology. Allow me to go into great detail on this one, because I think it’s worth it. The History of the (Original) JLC Geophysic 2 OF 42 Originally created back in 1958, the Geophysic celebrated two distinct events. Forged carbon Ginza or Legacy
Hi all,New here and going through my first purchase of a API often go to Japan with my Job, and have just loved the Ginza the moment I saw it, went to the boutique and put a deposit down. i collect her in October when I'm back in Japan, The clear case back, the dial details etc just love it and limited to 200 so I think would be quite collectableBut I have taken a little shine to the LegacyWhats the thoughts on this watch, with everybody, I did try the watch for size its quite heavy a demerit for me, and the strap also thought was naffWould i be right in thinking although limited not so collectible I see many for saleAppreciate your thoughtsAnd no I cant buy both, taken me long enough to save for my intended Ginza
Winding new Patek manual chrono
I picked up a 5271P about 2 weeks ago and it's my first manual wind timepiece. I have been winding it each morning until the very strong resistance is felt - where is literally doesn't feel like it can be wound more without damage. Is this okay or should I be winding it less? Sometimes I can feel some resistance before it hits that hard resistance point - should I stop winding it there? I wish it had a power reserve meter...
5960P with 5960-1A Bracelet Question
I know the materials are different but does anyone know or tried putting a 5960-1A bracelet on a 5960P? If so, does it fit?
