Very obviously Patek - 5168

Auction Prices - 5575
Still trying to get to the bottom of this. So today we have a 5575 going for $ 89 000. That means that the Seller actually received net $ 57000 So why dont Sellers just be more realistic on Chrono and ask this figure instead of the $ 100 + that i see everywhere. Just struggling to understand the disconnect in the market.
New arrival....
Hi guys, so happy with this new PP ....It has been arrived for a while now, but I had no time to post it so far. It's the Nautilus 5711 -- no doubt, it's a versatile watch , dressy and sporty all at same time. Being myself on the bigger sized watches for a while, it's kind of hard to get used to it. Slowly, I guess you realize that it's not a bold statement on your wrist, nor a screaming affirmation -- instead, it's like a understated elegance, that in turn is much more affirmative and bold, but for only to the ones who really know...Having the 5980/1A and 5726A, I was intending to get the Aquanaut instead. But this little guy is so nice complement to the others, that I had to put the Aqua to waitI really think that it's one of the best option on PP family to wear it daily, either on suit or jeans. It seems whatever you throw at it, it can handle fine So, sorry for long intro, let's see some pic's, shall we?( I always loved your opening box sequences , guys, so bear with me... )I
Help! Datejust 116200 mis-aligned hour indexes
Dear all,I need your help! My friend purchased this pre-owned 116200 Full BP, card shown Harrods London. After carefully checking it up, we found the hour indexes are not aligned with the Roman minutes markers. Can you all please view and advise whether this is manufacturer's quality mistake or this is good fake piece? Many thanks!
Rolex Singapore moves to put an end to ADs charging a premium
The Singapore Business Times on 1 March reported that Rolex Singapore has written to its ADs to stop charging a premium for their watches. Although no punishment is mentioned for ADs that continue with premiums, I'm guessing they run the risk of losing the Rolex distributorship if caught.Although all of us would welcome this, there are problems, the most obvious being that if ADs in other countries still charge a premium, Singapore ADs will simply send the desirable models overseas. If so, then local customers might end up being worse off because waiting lists here have little value. I've also been told that some ADs have told their customers that they can buy the desirable models such as the S/S Daytona at full MSRP - provided they buy another watch at the same time. This is mentioned in the full report, which is attached below. MOD EDIT: Don't print out whole articles unless you wrote them yourself and own the copyright. Just provide a link. Thanks. And FYI, this story has been rep
