Watches NEWS
Incoming and a more to come
Guys, I have been building up too many conservative dress watches and thought I needed to mix it up a little. I have been busy and have posted pics of two of these but thought I would put them all in one thread and ask a question. Its been a busy month with AP.I have a friend with a white ceramic and wanted a cool summer piece. The ROC in rose is just something I have admired for too long, but that new blue dial, AHHH. The 42 Offshore is something I have looked at for a long time, finally got the right deal and pulled the trigger. So - I have another arriving later this week, anyone want to guess what might fill in nicely with these three?
Worthwhile vintage buy? Omega Cosmic Moonphase ref 2606
Hi everyone, I have wanted for some time to grab a vintage Omega - and I came across this Cosmic that was recently serviced. It doesn't strike me as having seen a lot of polish time and the parts look original. Just wanted to get some thoughts on whether this is a good buy. The dial has marks in a few different areas, not sure how this will age, so quite hesitant.
Bought Omega PO
Bought a PO black face on rubber strap at AD yeterday. An impulse buy at a decent price. For now I'm pleased with it but may take it back... Will its 42mm size grow on me?
Incoming! My first Panerai, PAM 524!
finally i chose this, between the 233 and 524. i like the blue hand.
Got a new Sky Dweller
Not the one I wanted, but didn't want to pass on a steel Sky Dweller. AD insisted on taking the stickers off the head piece of the watch but left them on the band. He showed me the email from Rolex.1) sale must be for end customer 2) warranty card must reflect name and date3) all stickers must be removed. If stickers aren't removed do not give out warranty card. Warranty card will be named and dated when stickers are removed. The last bullet point he told me that they can leave all the stickers on if it's a gift, but no warranty card will be given until the recipient comes back to have the stickers removed and the watch resized. Guy wasn't budging at all on the policy. Feels great. Just wish it was blue. Not sure if I wanna keep it, but here it is...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
