diver comfort
Well I've had my ceramic diver on the wrist non stop for a little more than 48 hrs now, and I must say my fear of it being not comfy enough has vanished as after getting used to it it's incredibly comfortable for a watch that size, maybe because of the rubber band, I still haven't gotten used to the size visually speaking, when I look at it I have the feeling it's very very big, but I forget I'm wearing it, even sleep with it and no discomfort at all, whereas after having my 5712 I couldn't wear my Rolexes as I found them lacking comfort, but not the case with the AP, so for those hesitating about this go for it, after a small adjustment period it feels fine
Navitimer b01 43mm --- what's a good price?
So the topic says it all....what sort of discount would you guys expect on a stainless/leather 43mm navi01??? Retail 8250. I have a hard time as I know it won't retain anywhere near the value of a Rolex but it's always been on my bucket list. And frankly I've turned down too many great deals in the past...... New Monaco for 2300, new monbrilliant for 2600, preloved gmt2 for 4500..... Don't ask why just always a bad time....anywho.....what can I expect?
Rolex skydweller 2 tone discounting
Hi, i am on wait list by my dealer for a ss skydweller, but long list. My dealer is offering me the 2 tone dial instead that it has, and at a good price. I am considering it, my question is, what discount % is considered good? I am grtting offered 10% Do other dealers in other countries or areas offer discount for the 2 tone skydweller? If yes, how many %? Is this a good deal?
Submariner no date looks dull with plastic on?
My perception of a new submariner no date would be that...it would look kind of shiny/gleaming. So when I went to take a look at it in the grey dealer I was pretty disappointed. It looked pretty dull/different from the pics I'm used to seeing at trf. Maybe it's cause of the plastic that it was covered with..not sure..Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Still waiting on a stainless ceramic Daytona...
...so I got the white gold instead. Oh boy, was that the right call. Incoming below.I've got to say, the WG Daytona on Oysterflex is the perfect juxtaposition of old and new. It embodies everything that made the classic Daytona a smashing hit and wrapped it up into a 21st century package. The weighting and fit of this watch is absolutely perfect - it's heavier than one might imagine. It literally fit my 7 wrist perfectly right out of the display case with no adjustment. The OysterFlex bracelet is the most comfortable Rolex bracelet I've ever worn, hands down. And the dial...oh man. Quite possibly the best modern Daytona dial to date. It can vary from silver to a more gold hue, depending on the lighting. The black panda subdials and ceramic bezel create the perfect contrast to the light dial. Also, even though this watch is gold, it is so extremely versatile. You really don't need to worry about scratching the bezel or bracelet, which leaves just a few surface areas exposed.
