Servicing a RO by an independant watchmaker?
I am consiering a RO but concerned about the relatively expensive servicing if done by AP. I have a local watchmaker service my Rolex over the years and have always been satisfied. Are there many RO owners who have their local watchmaker perform routine servicing?
Are any Pateks discounted these days ?
Hi- I usually hate to ask these types of $ questions , however ...I am potentially interested in the now-discontinued 5205g .... as I am usually a sports watch guy (esp Rolex) and only just got into PP (5167a recent acquisition), I am used to you are fortunate if you get to pay MSRP . My question is, are PP ACs being discounted in the US? the 5205g in particular? If so, what should I shoot for? I have a strong relationship w my AD. Thx in advance for your advice!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

When will the PAM base models stop producing?
Hi guys,New around here after roaming for quite some time. The ETA movements, PAM 112, 000, 005 etc - I've heard will stop produce soon.Since most of them are getting replaced by Panerai's inhouse movements, and I've also heard it before that its getting harder and harder to find the base models from AD's.So my questions are;1. When do you think these models will stop producing? 2. Do you think it's a good idea to hold on to them for a couple of years? Since if they stop producing they will obviously be hard to come across -> second hand price rise.Cheers!
