My Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Forged Carbon Article On AskMen.com
Part of me has a love/hate relationship with Audemars Piguet. I really enjoy many of their watches, although I don't think they are perfect. Some of their designs are so classic and still hip, and I find myself really liking some of the pieces. Then I think to myself how overpriced some of the stuff is, and how a lot of what the company is - epitomizes the snobby luxury watch culture that I personally reject. Anyhow, this is the Forged Carbon version of the Royal Oak Offshore watch. A neat bumble bee of a timepiece with a lot of stuff going on. Stealth-wealth exterior and a fancy manufacture made movement inside.See my Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Forged Carbon watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here. Please help me choose; Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding 15400ST vs 15450ST
Hello All,I am interested in purchasing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding and am trying to select between the 15400ST and 15450ST. For comparison purposes, I believe that the Rolex Day-Date 40 fits my 6.65 (rather flat across the top) wrist well.I believe that I am somewhat between sizes and that the 15202ST would likely be the best fit, but regret the higher price, lack of features such as a quick-set date and particularly the lack of a seconds hand. The 15400ST case is borderline, whilst the 15450ST's dial visually appears rather small to me - which is something that concerns me.Rolex Day-Date 40https://.flickr/photos/153998.../shares/01ro29Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding 15400ST (including one with the bracelet pulled taut)https://.flickr/photos/153998.../shares/8pF47TAudemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding 15450SThttps://.flickr/photos/153998.../shares/h6aBr4Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding 15202SThttps://.flickr/photos/153998.../shares/1989LnThank you for your thou
Considering my first Patek - Input please!
Hi guys and gals,I've been voraciously collecting Tudor for a number of years now. I still don't know how or why I became so infatuated with the brand, but I'm getting to the point where I think diversification is necessary. There are still a number of Tudor grails I'm after, but they are not easily found so I need to wait and hunt to find desirable examples (7924, eagle beak, homeplate). Lately I've found myself looking st complications from JLC, IWC Mont Blanc and obviously Patek. I am considering the new IWC annual calendar w blue dial, but my heart and gut are stuck on the 5960/1a. Is this a good first Patek? Any input about complications in general? Any other Patek models I should consider? Other brands? Thanks!!
Quick question for a 116610 bracelet expert
Should I be able to unscrew the pictured Link (closest to the clasp)? Trying to put the half link on the 6oclock side to balance the links on the wrist. Thanks!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rolex Service Centre
Tomorrow my g/f will drop by a Rolex service Centre to buy an extra link for her Explorer 214270 mk1. But since the watch warranty is already expire, will Rolex sell the link w/o movement service on the watch ? And if the watch is being serviced by Rolex, how many years of service warranty do they provided ?
