Vacheron Constantin Launches The Ultra Complicated Reference 57260, Plus Multiple Drop Dead Gorgeous New References At Watches & Wonders 2015
This is shaping up to be an absolutely astonishing year for Vacheron Constantin. Even without the Reference 57260 (which we covered for you here, and here, and here) it would have been an impressive year for VC just on the basis of its new Harmony Collection (which, you might remember, we looked at here and here, and which we also covered in the latest installment of Three on Three). But then, they dropped the Reference 57260 on us – and now, at Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong, they’ve give us even more. Let’s start with a watch we fell in love with the minute we saw the pictures: the Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955. The name is just one of the many things that sound better in French; it means “cow’s horns” – and the watch is pretty much a solid, unadulterated dose of horological pleasure. Incomiiiiiiing!!!!
Well after much thought, endless hours watching photos on Instagram, reading your opinions on my other threads I decided that nothing would satisfy the itch but a 15202. So, just wired the funds and will soon have a brand new Jumbo! Can't wait. No more watches for me in a while. Unless of course some or the members feel they have too many (you know who you are) and want to contribute to a good cause, which is to expand my collection. So for now my SubC and Jumbo pretty much will cover all occasions. Hope the itch stays away for a while. Thanks everyone for your help and enabling!

Flipped 116200 for 16570
First Rolex was a 116200 which I bought last May, always felt the 36mm a touch small. Found that 40mm is what suits me best, I’ve a 14060M and DJ41 blue dial so wanted the polar white face as a change to the other 2 Rolex I have....Traded my 116200 for this 16570, 3185 cal from 2006 which arrived today. This is gonna be my daily beater, really like it.
Will Ceramic subs lose value?
Im looking to buy a green face/bezel ceramic submariner. They can't be found for much below retail at the moment. Should I hold off for a few months and wait for the grey market price to go down? Or do you think the ceramic sub will hold its value?
