Jaeger-LeCoultre and Jon Hamm Introduce New Reversos
Jaeger-LeCoultre North America President Philippe Bonay hosted an exclusive luncheon in New York City to introduce the newest addition to the Reverso line. Golden Globe nominee Jon Hamm, who previously hosted the Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica event in October, was among the guests on hand to view the new Grande Reverso 1931. This was the first time the piece was shown in North America. The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin focuses on simplicity. At only 2.94mm thick, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822 enabled the design engineers to create a Reverso slimmer than ever before. While the case with its generous proportions asserts a strong presence on the wrist, its slenderness and subtly-curved shape make it light and comfortable to wear. The pure dial with its vertical guilloch pattern, the restrained design of the Arabic numerals, the slim blued hands: all the aesthetic Reverso codes are present in this ultra-thin interpretation.Technical specifications appear below the images.Grande Reverso

New to AP. Looking at buying new blue dial RO
Hey everyone. Id really like to get a hold of a blue dial Royal Oak but know not a lot about them. From my understanding I would need to buy from a boutique with my nearest being in France. I did email them but they did not reply. Are these items on a long waiting list or fairly easy to purchase? Eg. Buying a sub vs trying to buy a Daytona ceramic. I have spotted a few models which appear to my newbie eye to be similar eg. Jumbo and 15400. 39mm and 41mm. Am I mixing a lot of things up here with new references and old? After reading these appear to be more delicate than SS Rolex models. I am careful at the best of times but how often should a new RO be serviced and what is the normal cost for this. Ive seen blue dial new unworn watches for 14000 or there abouts. Does this scream beware?Sorry for bombarding with questions. Thank you.
New Rolex day date?
Hi there am I right in thinking the dd40 was launched in 2015? I am considering getting one in gold. How often do Rolex usually update their watches do you think this will be around for another 5 years or so without any changes to their day date range? Thank you
Purchasing tips for Datejust 1603
Hi All, New member here, I've been eying a local Datejust 1603 and I was hoping you can help me with the purchase. What kind of things should I be looking for? The watch in question is pictured below. No box or papers. The only thing the seller provides is a servicing certificate. That dates back to late 2016. Does anything look off and what else should I look for?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
