Glashtte Original Unveils Redesigned Pano Collection
“Don’t mess with success” is a mantra to which many watch brands subscribe; German luxury watch brand Glashtte Original, on the other hand, has adopted another piece of advice: “Don’t rest on your laurels.” As proof, witness the company’s subtle, yet significant, redesigns in its popular Pano Collection of timepieces, from which four new models made their debut last month at Baselworld. Click below for info, pricing and wallpaper images of the new watches. The Pano watches arrived on the watch scene 12 years ago with the debut of the first PanoRetroGraph a chronograph with an eye-catching asymmetrical dial and “retro” chronograph mechanism with 30-minute counter. A limited edition of 50 pieces in platinum that quickly sold out, it was succeeded by the first PanoGraph model in 2002, which incorporated many elements of the design, as did subsequent models like the PanoMatic Lunar, PanoReserve and PanoInverse. The Pano watches making
Caseback Number question
Hi, apologies if this has been asked. May I know what does the case back number stand for (not the serial # that starts with an alphabet). Is it rerferring to the nth piece of same model made? Thank you
Buying preowned AP warranty
I'm looking at buying a 2012 pre owned royal oak. Please could someone confirm if the AP warranty stays with the watch or is it only valid for the original purchaser? Also, I've heard about making sure you get your 'sticker' or 'stamp' from AP for a third year of warranty(?) could someone enlighten me on what this means and how this works. I'm in the UK of that makes a difference.Hoping to be able to post up an INCOMING thread soon. Thanks
Ladies Complication
If you were to get a complication for your better half, what are thoughts on 4947G-001 vs 7130G-013?Any other good recommendations with white metal and mechanical movement?I haven't looked into APs yet, but perhaps there is something I should consider? Thanks
Should I buy now or later?
Hi, I am new to this forum, and I hope to slowly learn more about Rolex from you.I am thinking of buying a Datejust 6917 from a reputable store that specializes in selling used watches for my wife as our fifth wedding anniversary present. The reason why I am thinking about this is because Rolex seems to be her dream watch, and this model looks like something that she likes and the price is much more within my budget compare to most other models. The catch is that my fifth wedding anniversary is still 1.5 years away. I originally think that I should try to save up as much I could during this time before making the purchase. But would you recommend me to try to make the purchase ASAP in case the price of the watch will go up if I wait for another year? Also, I understand the longer I wait, the higher will there be a chance where that models will be sold out in the shop.Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
