Same old watch
I know, I know, you've seen it before, but hey guys it's the only Omega I've got. So, same watch but different pictures.
Advice needed with Omega PO
Over the last several months I've acquired several timepieces with the most recent being an Omega PO (orange number dial and rubber strap with orange stitching). My dilemma is I've fallen out of love with it. I admire the quality of construction and the co-axial movement and from a objective point of view the time piece is hard to fault. But it just doesn't stirr my emotions. My AD has a pre-loved Cartier Santos 100 XL (non chrono) for sale and I really like it. Would I be making a mistake by selling the Omega for the Cartier??I have been visiting this site for months now and find it rather addictive. There are a lot of knowledgeable members on this site which makes it even more interesting. JJ has over 49k posts !!! with a few other members not far behind. Heck, I even bought a new camera to take a few awesome pics of my time pieces and to no avail I can't seem to get my pics to appear like the guys here. Macro functions I am still toying with. I'll get there !!! Again, I w
Anyone have a two tone black bay?
We don't hear much about the two tone BB's rarely do I recall ever seeing one listed for sale here on the forum either. I can't put my finger on why but here lately they are peaking my interest more and more. I am sure they fall in third place to many behind the black or blue Subs depending on ones tastes. I've never been a huge fan of the blue Sub. Must admit the black two tone Sub is nice but I can't see myself wearing it over my SS Subc. The Black Bay however as similar as it is or isnt has a totally different appeal to me. Anyone else around here feel the same about the TT Black Bays? It might just be next on my list. You can save the; its only gold capped and its only for folks who can't afford a real Rolex comments. I've got two precious metal pieces in my collection along with one I gave my wife for Christmas.
Happy camper...
Nothing I really like. I'd gone for a steel 36mm with new movement but they are only launching it in two-tone watches. The GMT is a bit too showy, but I may warm up to it. Rather uneventful year.
78790 endlinks
I want one oyster bracelet that is compatible with my 1016 R serial and my 14060m Z serial.I like the 78790 do to the smaller clasp and safety. Can I use both 501b and 580 end links on this bracelet? I don't know if the last center link is wedge or round on 78790 or if that matters.Thank you in advance
