Royal Oak Offshore Help Please
Good Morning Wise forum. After 3 years of wrist time with my lovely Daytona I feel ready to treat myself to something new. Yesterday I tried on a ROO black face with a black rubber strap at a shop in the city and I was very impressed with the feel and the quality but at over 9k 2nd hand seem very steep. So Iam after any info on going rates, AD discount's and personal experiences please. Thanks In AdvanceMark
Just found a Tudor Black Bay 79220B brand new in store!
Just stopped off in Meadowhall for lunch, friend was late so had a quick browse. Looked in the window of Beaverbrooks and there amongst all the Tudors was a 79220B! Priced at 2410. I bought it in the end with discount of course. Very happy to add it to my 79220N
Sub like new
I finally got my Submariner back from the AD in Englewood, Colorado. I have to say that it shines like a new watch although I originally bought it in the Base Exchange in the early - mid 70's. I paid about $175.00 for it because it was a return and didn't have any box or papers. I plan to gift it to my step son in a week or so because he is the kind of man you hope your daughter will bring home from college .To complete the deal I would like to tell him the vintage of the piece and I'm hoping someone here could close the loop for me so I can tell him some of the history of it:model: 5513ser. no:6128020I served in Southern Command from mid-1970 through late 1975 and I think I bought the watch early 1970's.Thank you.Jerry Crawford.
