Seiko Ananta Automatic Watches
It has been a few months since I was in Japan visiting with Seiko. Shortly thereafter I wrote about the Spring Drive versions of their newish and impressive Seiko Ananta line of watches. If you recall, Ananta is Seiko's first line of high-end watches for the world market. The watches totally changed my perception of the brand, and I think if you check them out they will change the way you look at Seiko as well. The Spring Drive watches aren't cheap. While they are a great value for the money, the Seiko Ananta Spring Drive Chronograph watch can still get up to the $6,000 - $7,000 range. This is a larger amount of money than many people are able to spend on a watch - an important point as Seiko is such a globally "worn" brand. In addition to the Spring Drive movement based watches, the Ananta line comes in three different automatic mechanical movement forms. If you don't know the difference between a Seiko Spring drive and normal automatic movement, I suggest you check out the article ab
Patek Nautilus 5711/1A completed package?
Hello everyone...thinking of pulling the trigger on PP Nautilus 5711/1A. from AD. Watch is beautiful. Been wanting one for years. Watch of course is new. Has everything Certificate and nice big wooden box. What trouble me is that you know how it also comes w/small box and plastic pouch when AD gets from PP. They said under new PP policy they are to destroyed them. So my question to u is would u be a bother to this??? I want a completed package. I am thinking of waiting for asking them to get another order? Should I buy now or wait. Thanks in advance.
My Patek Philippe
Can anyone tell me anything about this beutiful Patek that must date back to the 30's or 40's. It was my Grandfathers watch that has been handed down to me. I think it is awesome. I would appreciate any information that anyone has on it. Thanks
it's been quite some time since I bought a Panerai ... But yesterday was the day :-)
and I love it
Dial consistent w/ flat 4 LV
A seller local to me that Ive become friendly with offered me this LV tonight. I chat with him at his jewelry stand every time I pick up soup for the little lady. I'm tempted due to the recent sky rocketing pricing. Might be incredibly tough to get one day. But no box and no papers which is ultimately fine. I'd wear it happily, but I'd still like to comfirm if it's authentic. No engraved rehaut.
