Devon Tread 2 Watch: Round 2
I am pleased that Scott Devon?considers my opinion valuable enough to run designs by me and ask me questions about the future of his rather cool high-end electromechanical watch brand. As part of this exchange I learned that the highly-anticipated Tread 2 watch that we saw hands-on on here?at Baselworld 2012 was likely to be put on hold. That was distressing to me as the Tread 1 needed a suitable follow-up, in addition to the fact that I liked the Tread 2.Nevertheless Scott wasn't happy with the design of the Tread 2 as it was after Baselworld. The project was re-assessed and it was possible that the Tread 2 wasn't even going to be released. This was despite the fact that Devon had orders for the watches. There was even a possibility that the Tread 2 was going to be skipped in favor of another model.In the end, the Tread 2 prevailed, but in a new and more distinct form. Review of AP Royal Oak Skeleton Rose Gold 15305OR + DSLR Shots!
My third Audemars Piguet watch has turned out to be my most exciting and enticing timepiece till date. After having own it a month, it is time for a review and a full DSLR shot coverage to do full justice to it’s beauty. In this review, most of the close-up shots were taken with a Nikon 5100DSLR fitted with a Nikkor 105mm microlens. Others were taken using my new Fuji X-100S 35mm camera. Overview Skeleton watches have existed in horological history for eons. The art of skeletonization calls for stripping away the watch’s dial to reveal the beauty of the movement. High end watch makers like Audemars Piguet goes a step further by also extensively decorating the movement. In this case, a galvanized anthracite finish is applied to the movement parts. The end result is one extremely beautiful timepiece that is more a work of art then a watch. The reference for this watch is 15305OR which comes in a RoseGold case and leather strap. Omega Service and certificate
I am about to service my omega 3510.50. Omega quoted me $900 for overhaul and a new hesalite and bezel. The watch buyers group quoted me $400-$800 with out a new bezel. Omega said for an additional $150 they would give me a certificate stating where and when the watch was made. And it would be signed by the omega president. Considering I paid 1k for the watch is this certificate necessary? It would probably help with resale down the line. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well Rolex gave us a new SS Pepsi GMT which is what I Personally thought would come out . After reading the various threads on the BLRO being discontinued itmade sense to me . I didn’t think they’d offer a SS and a PM model simultaneously though... Albeit the coke was not forgotten altogether you see... It’s in the bottom of the new SS Pepsi page on Rolex website as part of history as a consolation to those hoping for a new coke gmt ... Anybody think the Coke C on Jubilee would’ve been a hotter seller than the Pepsi ???
