Thinking about adding an Aquanaut
Hi all,I'm thinking about adding an Aquanaut to my collection. Really like the idea of a sporty Patek on rubber strap. Please enable me: 5164 or 5167r. I don't travel often but I do like the added complication and thickness of the 5164. I also like the 5167r since it looks sublime with the RG case. How conforming is the rubber strap for small wrists? I'm concern that it may not bend enough at the lugs so there may be a gap between the strap and wrist. My wrist size is close to 6.5 in. In need of valuable opinions......better safe than sorry , eh? What do you guys think about that ( unexpected ) piece?Too much for beginners? Would be a bet not to lose money in short term -- as newcomers are to be issued on next year, mostly bc the 150th anniversary?Is it practical for wearing or just a piece to admire and look after for next generation.....?wow...too many questions ...I'd really appreciate your opinions about it.Thanks in advance

Rolex 1991 Explorer ii 16570 Black Dial IssuesHey guys, I bought a Rolex Explorer ii 16570 Black Dial from a vendor in Miami a few weeks ago (I will not name them just yet, but I can later on if required - I want to give them the benefit of the doubt).I believe I got the watch at a good price, it did come complete with papers, box, service records etc. However it arrived appear to be a lot more scuffed up than pictured. I indicated to the seller that I wasn't happen about this and they refunded me the equivalent of the cost of a polish. OK, not great, but cheaper than posting it back (from Australia).My main issue now and something I would like the opinion of any experts here is when I received the watch, I wound it, around 30 times. Nothing happened, I shook it gently, still nothing, wound it again, then it started running. So I then set it to the exact time here in Melbourne and kept a close eye on it. Sea dweller or sub??
Ok. So I've wanted sub since I was 14. I'm gonna be 4O in May. I tried on sub and I honestly felt it was too small. Im torn. Any advices?
