Nice Surprise With The Zodiac Automatic Titanium Watch
I didn't speak very fondly of the last Zodiac watch I reviewed a while ago. That was the Zodiac ZMX 03, which just had too many design problems in my opinion. The situation is different with this Automatic Titanium watch (ZMX-04 ZO8510). The design here is well thought out, and all the pieces are in the right places. Best of all, the Zodiac designers figured out an effective solution to one of the biggest design problems I've been seeing on modern watches.Like most modern Zodiac watches, the design of this watch is a combination of a diver's watch and a pilots watch. The numerals, coloring, crown, and contrasting dial colors all scream pilot watch. While the case, strap, and hands all yell diver watch. Suffice it to say this watch is a combination of the two. The case is large at 48mm wide, and probably pretty thick - though with the titanium case and rubber strap that watch is more than likely to be extremely light. The hands on this watch really speak to me. They are big, but not nece
SS Royal Oak Chronograph 26320
Hi guys. I've recently become more intrigued by the 41 mm ROC in steel with the white dial. Any sense of how widely available these models are (new), and what sort of discount I could expect to get from an AD? Thanks in advance for the help!
Price of 5164a
Hi, anyone knows the price of 5164a in europe? And how many percent of tax refund as a visitor.
RSC Dallas or Independent?
On the fence here. Need to send my U serial 16570 Polar in for a service. Generally will not do polish/refinish, just the movement. My guy who I have used before and trust quoted me $575 for the movement overhaul and 2 year warranty. He is only 120 miles from me, so I can drop off and pick up which saves the cost and hassle of shipping. In the past this would be a no brainer, but the forum has me guessing a little as so many seem to support using RSC.Watch is really only worth $3-4K so once this is done I will have much more into her than she is worth.Curious as to what others might chose.
Lil' bro turning 25
So lil brother is turning 25 this year and I think it's time for him to join the big boys club :)He always into military, nasa, and those kinda things and Im thinking to grab him a speedy moonwatch. I have a good relation with omega AD here, so can get a good discount for sure (or I just can give him mine). But at the same time I'm thinking he will appreciate Sub ND as well, I can totally see him using nato strap or any military inspired straps with the Sub. Only problem is, no good relation with Rolex AD here, and with the low stock and high demand for the SS models, might need to go with the greys, just bought BLNR from this good grey dealer, so might can get a discount. But I don't think he's ready for a S$10K (Singapore dollar) watch on his hand, maybe when he's 30 LOLAny suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated!
