Images from WatchTime’s NYC Hublot Event
This past Tuesday night, a select group of WatchTime friends attended an invitation-only event with Hublot at the elegant Park Avenue Autumn restaurant in Manhattan. About 50 attendees enjoyed an evening of delicious food and wine, fabulous watches, and a chance to meet Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver, U.S. president Beatrice de Quervain, Hublot’s Mike Margolis, and WatchTime editors Joe Thompson, Mark Bernardo and Amy Bernstein. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and an opportunity to meet top Hublot executives, and to try on Hublot’s newest models and rare high complications. Following cocktails, dinner was served, and Mr. Biver gave an entertaining and informative presentation. Each attendee made a generous contribution, the entire proceeds of which were donated to Smile Train, an organization providing free cleft surgery for poor children in developing countries. And now, some images from the evening, which you may enlarge with a click. The venue. Saw a very nice AP ROO today...can't identify...help!
Hey guys, I saw someone wearing a full black (probably ceramic) royal oak offshore today with a leather band. The dial was black too but one or two of the sub dial was gold or was outlined in gold. It looked really amazing but I can't seem to find it online. Does it ring a bell for anyone here? Thanks!
The Omega "Olympic" Watch
This is a beauty. It has the Olympic rings on the seconds hand. They keep showing it on commercial breaks during the olympics. Does anyone know if it's available yet?
5227r vs Lange 1
Hey guys,Tried both these on today, 5227 was the most instant hit, however am conscious of it being very $$ for what it is.Enjoyed the case finishing on the lange 1 and movement finishing.Dial not so much.Collection includes. 5167a116710Thoughts?Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
Why they call it Tudor fifty-eight?
Since the bezel is 39mm, does anyone know why they call it Black Bay fifty-eight and not Black Bay Thirty-Nine? Just like Black Bay 32mm bezel is call Black Bay 32, so to make things simple, why don't they name Black Bay 39mm bezel according to the size? Just curious
