Girard-Perregaux 1966 Perpetual Calendar Watch
It is deceptively simple and pretty. I think I actually prefer Girard-Perregaux's use of minimalism over a brand like Vacheron Constantin. This is their 1966 Perpetual Calendar watch with an automatic in-house movement and also a moon phase indicator. A lovely thing in 18k white or rose gold. Omega Aqua Terra vs. Rolex Explorer I
I have decided to keep my Sub and send it in to RSC for a makeover.....But, I like watches. So, if anyone with experience can compare the Omega Aqua Terra Mod. 2503-50 with a Rolex Explorer I, I would greatly appreciate the insight. Retail on the Omega is about $1400 less, with discounts at an AD of at least 15% from there. Another oddity from Flea Bay a 5513 case with a drilled lug..... unless this is part of a laser welding practice to build up the over polished / damaged lugs, why the heck drill the lugs ???? only ��2500.. if your interested ?
GMT2 Date Change Question
So... I tried searching and couldn't find an answer.. When setting the date on my BLNR it would change dates when I advance the hour hand pass 11pm instead of 12pm.. It only does it if my minute hand is past 30.. if the minute hand is before 30 it will change dates after I pass 12pm. Is this normal?
